The Tatum ISD Board of Trustees set Aug. 11, 2025 as the public meeting to review the 2025'26 budget and proposed tax rate. Superintendent Dr. J.P. Richardson brought the item forward and asked trustees to select a date for the required public meeting.
Mr. Curt Smith moved to approve Aug. 11, 2025 as the public meeting date; Mrs. Erika Smith seconded the motion. The board approved the date by a 6'0to'0 vote. The board will use that meeting to present the budget and hear public comment before finalizing the tax rate and budget later in the adoption process.
