SBISD approves consent agenda including construction manager for Spring Woods HS CTE renovations and joint election resolutions

At its Jan. 27 meeting the Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda items, voting 6-0 to adopt multiple administrative and financial items. The consent agenda included awarding a construction manager-at-risk contract for Spring Woods High School CTE renovations, a contract for firewall maintenance and support, adoption of an order setting the May 2026 School Trustee general election, and resolutions approving joint elections with the cities of Bunker Hill Village, Hunters Creek Village, Piney Point Village and Spring Valley Village. The board also accepted the Federal Single Audit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025.
Administration requested that item 13I (administrator requests for outside employment under HB 3372) be removed from consideration; the board approved the remainder of the consent items. The board also authorized Bryan Williams, Gary Henry, and Dorothy (Allison) Tennyson to act as superintendent alternates for approving staff requests for access to TEA web applications (TEAL) for the May 1, 2026–April 30, 2027 period. Payroll and operating expenses for December 2025 and minutes from Dec. 1 and Dec. 15, 2025 meetings were approved as part of the consent agenda.
