The Spearman I.S.D. Board of Trustees approved Budget Amendment No. 1 for the 2025–26 fiscal year during its Dec. 10 meeting.
Board members voted 7–0 to adopt the amendment, which left the district's total revenue unchanged at $10,401,579 and increased the expenditure budget by $5,000 in General Administration, moving the expenditure total to $9,906,463 and reducing the projected fund balance to $495,116. The amendment appears as Exhibit A in the meeting materials.
The motion to approve the amendment was made by Scott Sonnenberg and seconded by Rhett Renner; the board recorded the 7–0 vote on the motion. The board packet lists the detailed line items for the General Fund (199) showing the $5,000 increase under account code for general administration.
