South Umpqua projection: ending fund balance $2.77 million, auditors scheduled

Shy Chapman presented the district's revenue and expenditure report for activity through July 31, 2025, reporting a projected ending fund balance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026 of $2,773,109. "The projected ending fund balance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, is currently $2,773,109," Chapman said, and told the board auditors would be onsite at the end of the month for the audit portion that is done in person.
Chapman also told board members that the remainder of the audit would be completed using online software and reminded members to check their emails for auditor-related forms. The figures presented are preliminary projections through July 31 and will be finalized once the auditors complete their review.
