The board approved several routine administrative items following staff presentations. The 2025–26 district calendar was presented by the superintendent and approved by motion and voice vote. On interdistrict transfers, staff recommended maintaining historical practice: not accepting transfers at K–8 and allowing up to 20 transfers at the high school level; the board moved, seconded and approved the recommendation.
The board also accepted a gift of $5,000 from Tom Burrows (transcript includes varying spellings). A board member moved "to accept the gift, $5,000 to enhance student success from Tom Burrows," the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Board members thanked the donor during the meeting.
