Staff said the UDO audit will consider a range of items from minor changes to setbacks and driveway widths to standards for urban chicken coops, roof pitches, and architectural elements, and may include language addressing solar, battery storage and data center standards. "Its a public hearing. So the public is invited to come and talk about anything that they think needs to be highlighted," staff said, encouraging commission members and residents to attend and comment.
Staff asked commissioners to check calendars for several upcoming meetings in August and September and noted the commission will revisit development standards as part of the audit process. No formal action was taken at this meeting on UDO changes; the announcement was informational and a call for public participation.
