Traylor also said the district received LASO/LIFT grant awards and PREP grants; she explained TEA changed partnership guidelines so 70% of LASO/LIFT funds will be directed to the Region Center for required partnership services, and that the LASO/LIFT award appears structured as a reimbursement program without specific dollar amounts listed in the packet. She told trustees the funds will support stipends, coaching for curriculum implementation and potential expansion of programs. Traylor also noted Project Graduation fundraising plans, coordination with community volunteers and plans to pursue a TxDOT Project Graduation grant.
