The board described the adopted rate as a decrease recommended by the superintendent. Trustee Mark Freeman then moved a separate resolution authorizing the Tax Assessor-Collector to verify and post the rates, a motion that also passed unanimously. The action completes the district's statutorily required steps for setting and posting tax rates for the coming school year.
