Procurements and renewals authorized by resolution included: a contract to PMC Wireless for technology supplies and services (period Sept. 30, 2025–Sept. 30, 2026; amount not to exceed $150,000 under cooperative pricing); Hoffman Services for vehicle service lifts (not to exceed $150,000); a Zurich Insurance crime/fidelity policy (not to exceed $5,000); a Selective Insurance flood policy for Elizabeth Fire Headquarters ($6,310); Verizon Connect hardware/software for fleet GPS management (not to exceed $75,000); and a Cradlepoint license renewal for the Police Department ($9,828.44). The Chief Financial Officer’s certifications for contract funding were recorded in the minutes.
Council also approved insertion of several state and federal grant revenues into the FY2026 budget under N.J.S. 40A:4‑87 including a Drunk Driving Enforcement Grant ($82,575.52), a Sustaining Local Public Health Infrastructure Grant ($24,951) and a Federal Highway Safety Increase Grant ($35,070). The meeting minutes record CFO certifications and note that contracts were awarded under cooperative or state contract authorities where applicable.
