Parks director to bring parks rental fee schedule and lease recommendations to council in January

The director said the work also must weigh community impact and staff time, and that findings will be brought back to the commission for review ahead of a council presentation in January 2026: "I've been asked to do a presentation for council roughly January 2026," the director said.
Commissioners agreed to review the materials at their January meeting and indicated they want the fee schedule to reflect fair market rates as well as operational and staff impacts. No fee changes were finalized; the commission placed the fee-schedule item on the January agenda for further action.
