Board adopts Policy Update 126 with exceptions; affirms local policies under District of Innovation plan

During the Dec. 15 meeting, the Veribest ISD Board approved Policy Update 126 with exceptions and then approved the specified local policies under the district’s District of Innovation plan.
The motion to approve Policy Update 126 with exceptions (BQA, EEP, EFB and FNG) was moved by Mark Kellermeier and seconded by Dalena Freeman; the board recorded a 6–0 vote in favor. The board then voted to approve the listed policies according to the VISD District of Innovation Plan; Mark Kellermeier moved, Mark Schwartz seconded, and the motion passed 6–0.
