The Zoning Board of Adjustments approved three bulk C variances for the property at 107 George Street (File ZB-2023-02) after continuing a public hearing from July. Borough Planner/inspector Todd Bletcher visited the site and, with the applicant, calculated impervious coverage at 68.3%. The board recorded that the applicant may park one car in the driveway and that additional vehicles would use George Street. The applicant agreed that "no engine testing would take place in the new garage; this would take place at his business," according to the transcript.
The application required variances for the front setback, garage area, impervious coverage and the existing driveway setback. After the public portion was closed, Board member Edward Trygar moved to approve the application; Nick Giannakopoulos seconded. The roll-call vote recorded Eleto, Giannakopoulos, Trygar and Chairman Bodak in favor and no votes opposed. The board’s approval resolves the outstanding variances for the 107 George Street lot; any permits must follow municipal permitting procedures.
