Campus leaders updated the trustees on recognitions and upcoming events. April Bryan reported Elementary Employee of the Month Kelli Fikac and Elementary Teacher of the Month Nicole Slover; mock testing and Dr. Seuss Day were noted and an Open House makeup date was set for March 5. Julie Tidmore reported Kasey Brown as junior high Teacher of the Month and highlighted the successful 5th Annual Dance and graduation planning for eighth graders. Chris Dowdy provided the high school update on behalf of Misti Stephens, reporting Neva Frost as Employee of the Month and Jason Massengale as Teacher of the Month. Coach Bob Featherston gave athletic updates, including a successful junior high track meet, upcoming high school track competition, two powerlifters advancing to regionals, a softball district win against Hamilton and the baseball tournament schedule.
