Tessa Dowdy noted multiple Students of the Month and more than $3,000 raised for the Valley Mills Food Pantry; Julie Tidmore reported JH UIL participation and semester exams for grades 6–8; Misty Stephens said the high school is finishing end-of-semester testing and will host an international exchange student from Italy after the break.
District enrollment was reported as 664. Chris Dowdy updated the board that the greenhouse should be operational after winter break and that a small gas leak at the elementary was repaired (PK-wing HVAC regulators replaced). The Esports team finished second at the state competition.
