Flores specifically requested that the board "look into this curriculum further before approving the Campus Improvement Plan," prompting trustees to withhold action on the 2025-26 Campus Improvement Plans and the District Improvement Plan. Trustee Jake Howard moved to approve other consent items while delaying the plans; Trustee Ty Lindsey seconded. The motion passed 7-0, and the campus and district plans were left for further review rather than approved.
