The Tatum Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously on May 12 to reappoint its existing officer slate for 2025‑26 and administered the oath to the president. Superintendent Dr. J.P. Richardson told the board he had consulted with President Everigester Adams Jr., Vice‑President Dennis Williams and Board Secretary Stephen Skinner and that all had offered to continue serving as officers.
"Mrs. Amick made the motion, seconded by Mr. Crawford for the current slate of officers to continue to serve for the 2025-26 school year," the minutes record. The board then voted unanimously to reappoint Everigester Adams Jr. as Board President, Dennis Williams as Board Vice‑President and Stephen Skinner as Board Secretary; President Adams received the oath of office and a Certificate of Election during the meeting.
