Board approves emergency-closure resolution and missed-school waiver for Early Childhood campus

The board voted to approve the resolution; the motion passed 5-0 with two trustees absent.
Separately, the board approved a Missed School Day Waiver for the Tarkington Early Childhood Campus. District PEIMS Coordinator Dana Burt explained the waiver process and TEA submission requirements; approval of the waiver allows the district to avoid making up the missed instructional day provided documentation is submitted to the Texas Education Agency. The motion to approve the waiver passed 5-0 with two absences.
