A representative of the Moultrie County Sheriff’s office encouraged county residents to attend a July fundraiser and introduced a newly sworn deputy.
Jesse Scribner urged attendance at the second annual Moultrie County First Responders "Guns vs. Hoses" baseball fundraiser for school supplies, scheduled for July 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Crowder Park in Bethany; donations will support Bethany, Lovington, Arthur and Sullivan school districts. Scribner also introduced Ethan Hawkins, who has completed field training and is currently on probation as a sheriff’s deputy.
