Chair Phelps moved to appoint Robert L. Elder, Steven W. Mayberry and Dr. Gregory Mauck to the Board of Review for terms beginning June 1, 2026 and expiring May 31, 2028; Chief County Assessment Officer Alicia Morgason said each agreed to continue and recommended them. The motion passed 9–0. Phelps also moved to appoint Ben Kuhns to the Farmland Assessment Review Committee effective May 1, 2026; Morgason explained the seat requires a Moultrie County farmer and said Ben was recommended. That motion passed 9–0.
Phelps read the first reading to appoint Daniel Cotner as Trustee of the Bethany Fire Protection District (term to expire April 30, 2029). Separately, the board approved an iPrime resolution authorizing Stephanie Helmuth to serve as a trustee for that organization; Helmuth explained the volunteer role and the motion passed 9–0.
