The board formally appointed its professional advisers on Jan. 12, approving resolutions to name Gruenberg Law Office as Board Attorney, Van Cleef Engineering as Board Engineer and Heyer & Gruel as Board Planner. The motion to appoint the professionals was moved by Marianne VanDeursen and carried on a roll-call vote recorded as Ayes: 7; Nayes: 0; Absent: 1.
Committee assignments were announced at the same meeting: the Budget Committee will include Chairman Andrew Turner, Secretary Cynthia Valle, Hofmann and Matteo. The Alternate Technical Review Committee was listed as Turner, Wright and Torres, with a note that appointment of the Technical Review Committee will be held until the Feb. 9, 2026 meeting for formal action.
