West Rusk CCISD board approves consent agenda including minutes and payroll

The West Rusk County Consolidated ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda at its regular meeting on Dec. 15, 2025. Secretary Iris Hammontree made the motion to approve the Nov. 17, 2025 meeting minutes, current bills, payroll, and the district investment report; Vice President Matthew Eastwood seconded the motion and it passed unanimously with the members present.
The board roster listed President Sandra Smith, Vice President Matthew Eastwood, Secretary Iris Hammontree and Trustee Chris Pratt as present; Trustees Jeff Mason and Lorenzo Tavarez were absent, and one seat was vacant due to resignation. The meeting record notes the open meeting was audio recorded as announced at the start of the session.
