Superintendent Kurt Ashmore reviewed the district's 3‑Year Safety Audit Survey for the Texas School Safety Center, conducted Sept. 29–Oct. 1, 2025, and said the survey requires the signatures of the superintendent and all board members. Mr. Ashmore announced that Donnie Carter and Czrena Watts have resigned (the minutes do not specify their roles), and said the district is recruiting for several positions including a high school principal, a high school counselor, a junior high principal, a high school special education teacher and a paraprofessional. He added that the district plans to purchase a Suburban and that maintenance and custodial staff will deep-clean classrooms, shampoo carpets and wax floors over the summer. The district is also working on a TEA (Texas Education Agency) Facility Usage Data Collection.
