WEIMAR ISD honors board, teachers and paraprofessionals at Jan. 12 meeting
Summary
The board received a proclamation honoring trustees and recognized teacher and paraeducator award winners for the third six weeks; 4th graders Presley Janecka and Kinsley Martella led the pledges and President Steve Williams led the invocation.
Superintendent Chase Seelke read a proclamation of appreciation for the school board and each trustee received tokens of appreciation from the campuses. The meeting also recognized 3rd Six Weeks Teacher Awards for Kelly Berger (Elementary), Alison Schimcek (Junior High), and Susan Sternadel (High School), and 3rd Six Weeks Para Awards for Tena Maupin (Elementary), Jennifer Pesak (Junior High), and Darla Leppin and Kassie Duffey (High School).
The meeting opened with the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge, led by fourth graders Presley Janecka and Kinsley Martella, and an invocation led by Board President Steve Williams. The recognitions were presented during the early portion of the agenda and required no board action.
