Principals report wide staff training, "Whatever it Takes" adopted as district motto

Principals reported extensive in-service training, safety and policy reviews, special education and diabetic training, and adoption of the keynote's message "Whatever it Takes" as the district-wide motto for the school year.
Principal Deidre Kane reported that faculty and staff completed multiple in-service activities ahead of the school year, including campus-level policy and Safety Emergency Operation Plan reviews, vertical alignment, grade-level meetings, GT refresher training, diabetic training for junior-high and high-school staff, special education training in Shamrock, and CPR/AED/Stop the Bleed training.
Mrs. Kane said the district started in-service with a breakfast hosted by First Baptist Church and a keynote by Clayton Davis; the board adopted "Whatever it Takes" as the district-wide motto for the school year. Elementary "Meet the Teacher" events were held and volunteers, including cheerleaders, will repaint Rocket Road. The principals also expressed appreciation for the recent teacher/staff raises.
