The Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda (Items A–L) by motion of Trustee Debbie Timmermann, seconded by Trustee Adrian Cooper; the motion passed 7–0. Consent items included minutes from previous meetings; monthly bid and financial reports; the budget calendar for 2026–2027; an EMS replacement at the TC Wilemon building; payment of project retainage for summer 2025 projects at Finley and Howard junior high schools; the application for delay of teacher certification; an MOU with Teacher of Tomorrow; an MOU with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement; an MOU with Tarleton State University for dual credit; an amendment to a purchase order; and certified TTESS appraisers.
In action items, Trustee Kim Kriegel moved to approve a Memorandum of Understanding with Texas Tech University; Trustee Clay Schoolfield seconded and the motion passed 7–0. Trustee Clay Schoolfield moved to approve stipends for Clift Elementary; Trustee Judd McCutchen seconded and that motion passed 7–0. Trustee Kim Kriegel then moved to adjourn; Trustee Ryan Pitts seconded and the motion to adjourn passed 7–0. The meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
