The public works representative said the project eliminated a problematic sewer pump station that had caused odor and compliance issues and that the work was designed beginning in 2021 and completed last November. "This project actually eliminated a very problematic sewer pump station that odor issues and everything like that that were years of compliance," the presenter said.
Staff told the council the work came in under budget after two bids were required to reach an acceptable price, and members thanked staff for addressing years of complaints at the site near the Econo Lodge. A motion to accept the project and approve the final pay application was made and passed by roll call.
No further action was required beyond acceptance and executing the final pay application.
