White Settlement ISD board adopts Resolution to set 2025 tax rate

The White Settlement Independent School District Board of Trustees held a public meeting on the district's 2025 tax rate during its Aug. 18 regular meeting. Board President Ben Davis opened the public meeting and turned the presentation over to Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations David Bitters, who delivered the staff report on revenue and rate considerations.
After the presentation and an opportunity for public comment (no speakers signed up), the board later considered a formal Resolution to Set Tax Rate. Trustee Krystal Arnold moved and Trustee Glen Lowry seconded the resolution; the motion carried with six Ayes and zero Nays. The minutes record the action as "approved as presented."
