Elmwood Park trustees approve consent package of contracts for ambulance gear, engineering and marketing

The Elmwood Park Board of Trustees unanimously approved a consent package on Jan. 5 that included several vendor contracts and intergovernmental agreements scheduled for staff implementation.
The items approved included a proposal from Stryker Sales, LLC for ambulance equipment, a professional engineering contract with Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. for lead-service-line inventory work, an agreement with XPress Solutions, Inc. for online payments, a proposal from Big Timber Landscape Company to replace bocce-court turf, an intergovernmental agreement with Metra for a Kiss N’ Ride facility, geotechnical services from Terracon Consultants for property at 7315 W. Grand Avenue, a marketing agreement with ESPN Chicago and the sixth amendment to the redevelopment agreement for 7528 W. North Avenue. On the roll call vote, trustees answered "Aye" with no nays; the motion carried 7–0.
Manager Paul A. Volpe provided the packet materials and cost summaries to the board in the attached manager’s report. The approvals largely ratify staff-negotiated proposals so departments can begin contracting and implementation steps this month.
