Jenny Short addressed the council, thanked them for the opportunity and said she plans to have office hours and a public whiteboard to list incoming community issues. "I really am honored that out of all the people that you had as applicants that, you picked me, and I'm really excited to accept the position here," Short said during her remarks. Councilmembers and members of the public thanked Jill for her interim service and staff noted they will work on a transition plan. The motion to appoint Short was moved and seconded on the record and passed with no opposing votes.
