The Palatine Liquor Commission approved a class E temporary liquor license for Clearbrook’s ninth annual “Around the World Food Tasting,” scheduled for Oct. 17 at Arlington Toyota (2095 N. Rand Road). Hillary Middleman, speaking for Clearbrook, said the event raises funds for Clearbrook clients and described it as the organization’s ninth annual tasting.
Commissioners had no objections, and the license application was approved to be processed. Commission members and community representatives also highlighted Clearbrook’s other community services, including a shredding program that helps raise funds and employ clients.
