During questions about the facilities presentation, a trustee raised construction issues at Tennyson and asked whether staff were still addressing them.
Jared Stersinger replied: "So we've reached what we call substantial completion within the project, but there's also then what we call a punch list. We're continuing to work through those. We're still getting warranty requests. Basically, you have a bumper to bumper warranty for a year. So those will all be worked through in the process."
The response indicated the district considers the work in closeout and relies on warranty procedures and punch-list tracking rather than reopening major construction planning. Trustees thanked Stersinger for the update and proceeded to the demographic report.
