Superintendent Don Dunn used his Oct. 20 report to highlight several district activities and student accomplishments. He told trustees that "Vandal Band received straight 1’s at Regional marching contest. They will compete at the State contest on Wednesday, October 29." He also reviewed athletic updates, including volleyball's run toward a district championship and the football team's recent win over Gilmer.
Dunn reported that second-grade students toured TJC and third graders toured UTTyler as part of campus enrichment efforts. He credited principals and campus staff for ongoing improvement work across schools.
