Resident asks about PNC Bank property redevelopment; borough says owner pursuing redeveloper agreement

At the end of the Aug. 20 meeting, during public comment, resident Shari Garretson asked what is planned for the PNC Bank building. Administrator Art Londensky replied that the owner is working on a redeveloper agreement with the borough and is preparing plans. Chair Donna Zammit told the public that "the application is not before this Board at this time, additional questions should be addressed to the Council or Redevelopment Committee."
The board closed public comment and adjourned at 8:30 p.m. The exchange indicates the PNC Bank site's redevelopment is at a preliminary stage and that formal review would occur through the Council or a future Planning Board application if and when it is submitted.
