The engineering office said the traffic ordinance responds to traffic studies (including a recommendation for a four‑way stop where 22 recorded incidents were noted) and will be published for public comment; a public hearing on traffic changes was scheduled for the Aug. 17 meeting. The mowing and weed ordinance update was introduced to modernize notice and fee provisions (e.g., $150 for notice and $500 for county mowing, with liens possible). Commissioners introduced all measures to allow time for legal and technical review and further public comment.
