The Rolling Meadows City Council approved six consent resolutions (E–J) in one motion on Jan. 13. The bundle included: authorization to purchase core network switching equipment through Scientel Solutions, LLC; award of a multi-year forestry maintenance contract to R.W. Hendricksen Tree Care (not to exceed $82,740 annually for FY2026–2028); refurbishment services for RM162 (2005 Morbark Model 13) chipper from Alexander Equipment Company, Inc. ($33,010.95); approval of FY2026 Motor Fuel Tax appropriations for the street rehabilitation program; purchase of water meters and parts from Core & Main (not to exceed $70,000); and renewal of a one-year contract with R&M Communications for newsletter production and strategy.
Council approved the consent resolutions by a 6–0 roll call. The packet lists vendors, contract amounts and program assignments so departments can proceed with procurement and implementation.
