The board ratified President Saviano's approval of a Queen of Hearts raffle application submitted by Rich Mazzulla Sr. of the Italian American War Veterans Post #10 to be held at Circle Tavern, with ticket sales beginning Feb. 3, 2026. The board also approved raffle applications submitted by John Machonga of the American Veterans Community Trust for the Taste of Elmwood Park and for a Veterans Dinner. Motions to approve those raffle applications carried.
In new business the board approved President Saviano's re-appointments to the West Suburban Special Recreation Association: Regular Representative Ted Gmber, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation, and Alternate Representative Alan Schmidt, Director of Parks and Recreation. The motions carried without recorded dissent.
