Attorney: architect and construction-manager contracts for new Village Hall remain under negotiation

Village Attorney Michael Durkin reported that two consent-agenda items — a standard form agreement with Wright Heerema Architects, Ltd. for design services and a guaranteed-maximum-price construction-manager contract with F.H. Paschen, S. N. Nielsen and Associates, LLC — remain under negotiation.
Durkin said the resolutions include language allowing the Village Manager, President and Attorney to finalize terms before execution. He stated there are a "few more terms" under each contract that need to be finalized before the documents are signed.
The contract resolutions were included on the consent agenda and carried by the board in the evening's roll call vote; the minutes record that final forms will require subsequent approvals indicated in the resolutions' conditional language.
