He described the 2026 Motor Fuel Tax street resurfacing and alley reconstruction project and noted a recommended design and construction engineering fee for Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. not to exceed $349,500.
The manager’s memo also listed a proposed agreement with Kroll, LLC for consulting services at a fee of $8,800 and a WGN Radio marketing proposal for $4,550 related to Taste of Elmwood Park. Volpe’s packet listed two OSLAD grant awards—$376,250 and $600,000—to assist with park projects and an estimated electrical demolition cost for new Village Hall work of $28,695.
These items were included in the consent agenda and carried as part of the board’s approvals earlier in the meeting.
