Weimar FFA, student awards and band advancement highlighted at board meeting

The board acknowledged Weimar FFA and Junior FFA Colorado County Fair exhibitors and announced first six-weeks leadership awards for K—5, teacher awards and para awards, and Elementary Appreciation Month. The recognitions were delivered early in the meeting as part of the celebration portion of the agenda.
Superintendent and staff also noted that the band received all 1s at the regional marching contest and will advance to the Area competition on Oct. 25. These recognitions were presented to trustees but did not require board action.
