The Wink‑Loving ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda at its March 24, 2026 meeting, including minutes from Feb. 12 and Feb. 26 and routine financial items.
Sarah Wilkinson, tax assessor/collector, presented the February tax-collection report showing total collections for the month of $63,559,378.49. Trustee Melissa Halterman moved to approve the tax report; Trustee Jerome Dewberry seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The board also reviewed bills paid and payable for February, with bills for the month totaling $111,990.53; Trustee Halterman moved approval and the motion carried unanimously.
Trustee Raymond Dodd made the motion to dispense with the reading of the previous minutes and accept them as printed; Trustee Carrie Purcell seconded. The board also approved the administration’s recommended WLISD transfer student list for 2026–27 after principals reviewed grades, discipline, attendance and assessment records. Trustee Purcell moved to approve the transfer recommendations; Trustee Dewberry seconded and the vote was unanimous.
