Principals report enrollment, activities and student programs for spring semester

School leaders presented enrollment and activity reports at the Jan. 22 WINK-LOVING ISD board meeting. Jr./High School Principal Kittie Gibson reported combined JH/HS enrollment of 200 (HS 138; JH 62) and listed upcoming events including the Winkler County Stock Show, UIL invitational and district academic contests. Gibson said there were no discipline reports for the period and noted increased participation in animal and agriculture fabrication events.
Elementary Principal Candice Voyles reported elementary enrollment of 232 across EE–6 and outlined upcoming dates for Academic UIL, CBA windows and the 100th Day of School celebration. Voyles also reported the Grinch for Good food drive collected 1,340 cans this year, with third grade collecting 288 and earning a pizza party.
