P/MA Savage warned the Fire Station might not be available for the Bike Party because the property is for sale, so the committee explored alternate locations such as the Library parking lot or a section of the Jewel parking lot pending owner approval.
"Perhaps the Library parking lot would be possible," Mr. Vogt said when discussing alternative sites, and he added that the Duck Race organizers were considering shifting the date to avoid conflict with Fridays Rock but "it might be best to host [it] on that day" to ensure a crowd; organizers discussed a likely time around 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Members agreed to follow up with property owners and event partners to finalize locations and times.
