Wharton ISD board hires KM&L as district auditor

Cheryl Hooper, the district's Business Office Manager, presented the rationale for selecting KM&L and said the firm’s experience with other districts supports the choice. A KM&L representative, Mr. Witlow, gave trustees an overview of the firm's services. President Philip Henderson moved to hire KM&L; Garland Novosad seconded and the motion passed 6–0. The board did not record any dissenting comments when the motion carried.
