City Manager Frank Martz updated the Commission that Congressman Mills is working to include $529,000 in a minibus appropriations bill to assist the Altamonte Springs Police Department with active-shooter emergency response capabilities. Martz said the funding is included in a minibus bill and would be part of the final budget if it passes both houses of Congress and is signed by the president.
