Ridgefield Park’s archery program drew a security and logistics review at the Jan. 15 meeting after board members reported that too many people had access to the equipment bin. Commissioner Portorreal authorized purchasing a new bin but said the town cannot buy it until DPW has space to install it.
The minutes say the DPW will look into installing a motion-activated camera near the bin to monitor access. The board set spring archery session dates (April 11–June 20) on Saturday mornings across three time blocks and a $25 registration fee, noted May 23 would be skipped for Memorial Day weekend and that archery will be open May 30 for the Earth Day celebration. Gil Bell was assigned to order new equipment.
