Long Grove board reinstates Moana Mauer to architectural commission

The Long Grove Village Board voted unanimously to appoint Moana Mauer (referred to in the meeting as Moana Mauer) to the village architectural commission. "So Moana Mauer. Right? ... I think it'd be great to have you back on the commission, and I'm looking for the board to support me on that," the presiding official said as the board moved to appoint her. Trustee Harris moved the nomination and Trustee Gayden seconded; the board responded with a voice vote of "Aye." The president welcomed Mauer back after the vote.
The appointment restores a member who previously served a four-year term that ended in 2020. No additional conditions or term length were discussed in the public portion of the meeting; the board moved on to other agenda items following the appointment.
