The Yantis ISD Board of Trustees approved a missed school days waiver application and revisions to the 2025–2026 district calendar (motion by Ashly Vivion, seconded by Jennifer McKeever), with the motion carrying 7-0. The board also approved vendor selection for replacement of the old gym floor, authorized an order of election and an interlocal agreement with Wood County Elections, and approved the consent agenda.
Trustees listed future agenda items including administrative contracts, term teacher contracts, construction manager at-risk selection, and selection of an architecture firm. April Johnson moved to adjourn at 7:43 p.m.; Wynne Sellers seconded and the motion carried 7-0, closing the meeting.
