Wink-Loving ISD board accepts January tax collections and approves financial reports

At its Feb. 12 meeting, the Wink-Loving ISD Board of Trustees approved routine consent items including the minutes of previous meetings, the January tax collection report, and the district’s financial reports.
Sarah Wilkinson, the district’s Tax Assessor/Collector, presented the January 2026 local tax collection report and the minutes record total collections for January as $100,914,095.13. Trustee Raymond Dodd moved to approve the tax collection report and Trustee Melissa Halterman seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Business Manager Geanna Coker reported there were no budget amendments for the month. Trustees also reviewed bills paid and bills payable for January; bills for the month totaled $345,760.12. Trustee Halterman moved to approve the financial reports and bills; Trustee Carrie Purcell seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
