The resolution allows the superintendent to execute the contract if reverse auction results match or beat previously obtained indicative pricing and sets April 30, 2026 as the latest date to finalize renewal prior to contract expiration on May 31, 2026. Trustee Carrie Purcell made the motion and Trustee Raymond Dodd seconded; the board approved unanimously.
Administration explained the district's prior six-year contract produced favorable rates but cited issues adding new construction under the current contract and noted work with Mantis Innovation to assess future electricity needs. The motion authorizes add/delete contract language to accommodate potential future expansion.
