Whitney ISD trustees adopt policy update, purchasing agreements and approve Chromebook purchase

At its Nov. 3 meeting the Whitney ISD Board of Trustees approved a package of administrative actions designed to support district operations and compliance. Trustees approved the Region 10 ESC Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative Interlocal Agreement for 2026–27 and adopted TASB Policy Manual Update 126 as presented; both motions passed by unanimous vote.
The board also approved the district library book list in compliance with SB 13, the Campus Improvement Plan and the District Improvement Plan. Trustees approved participation in Omnia Co-op purchasing and authorized a purchase of ACER Chromebooks. The board further approved a municipal advisory agreement with Hilltop Securities. All motions were seconded and recorded as unanimous votes. Minutes show these items were considered under Action Items 7.B–7.I.
